Dear neighbors,

The Ward 5 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) is back after two months without meetings (though we do hope that you attended and enjoyed the Community Dinner and Movie Night on August 28). The theme for September 15 is "Back to School". This is a hybrid meeting: you can attend in person at 7 PM (645 Pine Street) or by Zoom (see info below).

We will be joined at the meeting by Burlington School Superintendent Tom Flanagan as well as School Commissioners Lucia Campriello and Jeff Wick to talk about the plans for a new high school and other school issues. Also superstar Principal Joe Restighini will give us a back-to-school report from Champlain Elementary.

We will also have a chance to talk about the proposed multimodal transportation center with Jeff Dube from VHB consultants. And don't forget Public Forum for your announcements, questions, observations and gripes.
