"Wild Sisters" Plant Walk - Wednesday, June 18th at 6:00 pm.
Take a walk through yards and gardens, down neighborhood streets, and over to Calahan Park with Melanie Brotz, an experienced and entertaining wild food guide, herbalist, and registered dietitian. Learn about the culinary plants growing wild all around us. Some of the weeds in your vegetable garden are more delicious and nutritious than the plants that you are carefully tending there. And many common weeds in your perennial garden have healing properties.

Find out about herbal remedies you can make from plants growing right in your own back yard!
