The 3rd Annual Brain Freezer 5K will happen Sat 7/12/14. The rules are simple. Run 1.5 miles, down a pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, then head back.
How fast can you run a 5K? Have you ever eaten a pint of ice cream in one sitting? The Brain Freezer 5k is your chance to see how fast you can do both!
The Brain Freezer 5K will take you on a tour of the beautiful Queen City -- Burlington, VT. Challengers must run 1.5 miles, eat a full pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, then run the rest of the way back.
All of the proceeds from the race go to People Helping People Global, a Vermont-based, international development organization that provides interest-free micro-loans to individuals to start small businesses.
Entries: $25 students/$30 adults (2/28/14 - 4/30/14), $30/$35 (5/1/14 – 6/30/14), $35/$40 (7/1/14 – 7/12/14)
What you get: A stylish shirt, a pint of Ben & Jerry's, customized awards, and the respect of all of your friends
