The Charlotte Planning Commission meets this Thursday to continue its review of materials to help residents and other stakeholders understand the purpose & content for proposed amendments to the Charlotte Land Use Regulations. A public hearing on the proposed amendments will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 9 at the Town Library to provide residents an opportunity to ask questions & get answers on this draft.
This week's meeting will provide Commissioners with one final opportunity to revise & correct (as needed) the User's Guide and Report that provides context and background to the proposed LURs amendments. A link to the draft LURs amendments and supporting materials is posted underneath the meeting link on the town website 'Meeting Calendar and Agendas' page on the town website, and on the meeting agenda. The PC will also mark up & approve draft meeting minutes for 3 prior meetings, and discuss outreach strategies for next week's Public Hearing.
The public is welcome to join this week's meeting in person at Town Hall, or via Zoom at the link provided on the agenda. Let us know if you have any questions.
