The Mt Abe FAC held the first of several community engagement meetings at Mt Abe on June 11th. Along with a lot of great feedback about the building we heard clearly that we need to keep reaching out to voters and creating more opportunities for citizens to visit the school and be heard. So we are planning a second community engagement to help define the scope of a proposed renovation of the facility. It will be held at Mt Abe on June 25th from 6 till 8:30. This will be an opportunity to take a quick tour of the school, learn about the challenges the building presents, and share your ideas, concerns and priorities for the future of Mt Abe Middle and High School. With your input, we will shape a project/bond request that voters can support in November.

We are asking that voters who attended the first meeting encourage their interested friends and neighboors to attend this next engagement. The focus group format will be similar. Please contact one of your school board members to let them know you will be coming. The event will take place at the Mt Abe small cafeteria.
