Did you know that before there was a Champlain Valley Fair in Essex Junction, there was a fair in Essex Center? The August Tales and Treasures' program, "The Fair before the Fair", presented by Kendal Holden will tell the story of the Essex Center Fair run by the Essex Center Grange from 1913 to 1921 in a field off of Towers Road. The program will also tell the history of the Essex Center Grange and is co-sponsored by Blue Spruce Grange.
