Join us August 9th for the next Community Climate Chat!

The next Community Climate Chat will feature Jane Lazorchak, Director of the Global Warming Solutions Act, and will focus on the State of Vermont's Climate Action Plan. The event will be held at the Pavilion at Lareau Farm and will run from 5:30 to 7:30pm on Tuesday, August 9.

Donations are appreciated to help make this and future events freely accessible to all. Registration closes August 4th.

The Vermont Climate Action Plan aims to dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions, help protect Vermont communities and landscapes from the greatest risks of climate change, and create new clean energy industry and jobs. But what does that mean for the Mad River Valley? Join Jane Lazorchak, Director of the Vermont Global Warming Solutions Act, and Marian Wolz, Global Warming Solutions Act Coordinator, for a presentation and discussion about the future of climate change planning and policy in Vermont and our local watershed.
