Phantom Theater is presenting the film MOYA and it is a must see! The South African performers are amazingly talented, and the artistic direction, photography, music, and editing are unbelievably beautiful. We can be thrilled by a talented acrobat or juggler but the filming and editing makes it an incredible experience overall! The performers are shown in the studio and also out in nature, villages, and seashore, and the art director juxtaposes these images with such creativity and power it is beyond description. I saw it last year at the Big Picture but the intimacy of the Phantom Barn makes it seem larger than life. I will be going back for a third time- that is how good this film is.
