Just a reminder that our 200th anniversary for SVA is tomorrow Sunday, July 10 from noon - 4pm, as Stone Valley Arts celebrates the Bicentennial of our historic building. It will be a great day to celebrate local arts, music and the rich history of Poultney! We hope you can join us tomorrow for the festivities and fun!

Event Description: For 200 years this historic stone building has graced our community and has served various civic functions for the people of Poultney and the surrounding areas. Since 2016, it has housed our community's art center, Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill.
On July 10th, the festivities will include live music by the Poultney Welsh Choir, Poultney's Backyard Brass, BBQ Barbershop Quartet and Calypso Connections, unveiling of Historic Marker, gallery exhibits, art activities for children, local food /refreshments and presentations by the Preservation Trust of Vermont, the Poultney Historical Society, new local business enterprises and other established civic organizations.
As part of the celebration, a unique fundraising event has been planned with monies raised going toward the continued care and preservation of this special building.
Because we Love The Arts and the Town of Poultney so much, at 3:00 pm we will gather and set a Vermont State record for the Biggest-Ever Group Hug! Come celebrate 200 years of history in Poultney "The Heart of the Slate Valley" and make history at the same time!
