CVFiber Webinar Reminder
CVFiber is holding an online webinar this Wednesday, June 22, at 7 p.m. about the build-out of fast fiberoptic internet throughout our 21-member district. Worcester, a CVFiber member, is part of the first phase of the build-out, scheduled to begin in September. Completion of the entire network will take place over four years.

When will CVFiber service be available in Worcester? The webinar will describe CVFiber's construction schedule and services to be offered.
A number of for-profit, private "incumbent" internet service providers (ISPs) have offered service deals in some parts of Worcester for what is often called "fast broadband." It's important to understand that "fast broadband" is a loose term that can mean a variety of things. It's different from what CVFiber will offer, which is high speeds through a fiberoptic cable connection directly to your home, unaffected by the number of customers online. "Fiber to the premises" is the gold standard of connectivity, and CVFiber plans to offer it at a competitive price.
