Sue Morse has been studying the herds of caribou that roam the Arctic for more than 15 years. You can imagine the stories this renowned naturalist can tell about her days and nights stalking and observing caribou and other wildlife in that spectacular landscape. Her patient endeavors have put her close not only to caribou but also polar bears, musk oxen, Arctic foxes, ptarmigan and wolves -- all of which she's captured with her superb photographic skills.
Next Tuesday, June 21 at 5:30 pm, you can experience her amazing images and personal tales in a special, free web event she's calling "Caribou Across the Arctic: Stories from the Land." Don't miss this opportunity to see her remarkable images of these animals, and hear first-hand the perspectives that can only come from years of "boots on the tundra" field work. Sue's presentation is a by-donation event co-sponsored by the Richmond Land Trust and other community organizations in our area to benefit the Jericho Town Library. See you online next Tuesday at 5:30 sharp! Get the link at: https://keepingtrack.org/events/caribou-across-arctic-stories-land.
