The Latin Dance Party is a unique international event. You do not need to be a dancer to enjoy it! Be inspired by the beauty of Shelburne Farms Coach Barn; enjoy the sunset; taste the Latin inspired appetizers (including authentic Argentinean empanadas) and desserts; check out the exciting items at the Silent Auction. If you have 'Learn to Tango' on your Bucket List, you can check it off after dance instructions by Bandoneonist and tango organizer Hugo Martinez Cazon. The 9 piece internationally known Latin band, Alejandro and Grupo Sabor, will play great music for Salsa, Merengue and Tango. Shelburne Farms will host a cash bar.

All funds raised from this benefit will go directly for construction of 'a first' Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the Tela Hospital. The volunteer group Vermont-Hands to Honduras-Tela will begin this humanitarian service project in February, 2014. Currently, a small 14 ft. x 12 ft. room is used for newborn and preemie babies. Originally designed to hold three babies, there are often as many as 20 babies in this over-crowded space. H2H-T also plans to supply the necessary medical equipment.
