The City of South Burlington has received a $9.7M federal RAISE grant to build this project.
In 2019 a location was selected through a study led by the Chittenden County Regional Planning Commission (CCRPC) and with input from the community. The path to the bridge will hug the south side of the interchange of I-89 and attaches to Williston Road via shared use paths.
