Due to the coronavirus, our local North End Pantry needs help and support. Many families and individuals in our community rely on the generosity of the North End Pantry Out North Avenue and all who support it. Knight of Columbus DeGoesbrind Council 279 is looking to continue our support of those in need by providing food and funds. Please join us again this year as we strive to support those most in need Last year our members and the local community donated over 1,000 lbs. of food and $175.00 to the North End Food Pantry through this food drive! The kindness and thoughtfulness went a long way in helping individuals and families that visit the North End pantry. Money donated is used to purchase grocery store gift cards and our local contribution aided the North End Pantry in providing over 500 cards last year! You'll be able to drive by and drop off donations at both St. Mark's and St. Joseph's on June 18th, between the hours of 9 AM and 11 AM. Pull in, and a Knights of Columbus member will be masked and available to collect your donation from your vehicle. Our council is seeking to provide 100 pounds of food and/or $ 500.00. Please consider joining us as we serve those in need within our community.
