Praise Sep and Peter Ruschp During National Trails Day

Past event
Jun 7, 2014

Back country skiers will appreciate the fact that the Ruschp Sterling Ridge Trail built last year will be enhanced during Saturday's National Trails Day event in Sterling Valley. Hardy Avery has already cut and sectioned the trees along the one narrow ridge portion of the trail that our winter skiers recommended be widened. The deep snow this winter also confirmed that we needed to trim higher tree branches along the trail.

All National Trails Day volunteers are invited to park and meet at my home at 250 Sterling Gorge Road between 9:30 AM and 10:00 AM. We will provide maintenance tools, discuss our work plan and then start out together as a team at 10:00AM. Please pack your food and beverage since we will be stopping at the magnificent Mount Mansfield view site for lunch.

You may call Gar Anderson at 253-9035 ihttp://frontporchforum.com/admin/areas/171/issues/677/edit?area%5Bchoice%5D=to+do#f you need any additional information.
