Living Tree Alliance's AWESOME camps immerse children in the life of their homestead, rivers and forests through farming, cooking, making, swimming, forest and field games Every morning they rotate through stations of cooking, crafts and farming putting hands together to grow food for the food bank and enjoy play in their natural playground and tree houses. In the afternoon, they explore the forest through play, fort building and splashing in the Mad River and Dowsville Creek. Their property has a private swimming beach on the river and wonderful clay deposits for endless body painting, building and exploration. Join them for some old fashioned fun offered for two weeks this summer (July 11 and Aug 16) New this year: check out RootedYouth our middle school leadership program full of building, biking and group challenges for those tweens ready to increase their impact in the world.
