Bears, Oh My!
Birds and Bears at Wolfrun http://vt.audubon.org/events/birds-and-bears-wolfrun Friday, June 6 7:30am - 3:00pm
Late spring is a time of great activity in the natural world. Migratory songbirds have returned to Vermont's forests with one thing in mind: rearing the next generation. Black bears, which gave birth to their cubs over the winter, will spend much of late-spring feeding on young, green plants around wetlands.
Join Susan Morse of Keeping Track and Steve Hagenbuch of Audubon Vermont for a day-long exploration at Wolfrun in Jericho, Vermont. Build your bird identification skills, learn how (and where) to look for signs of black bear activity, and understand the fascinating relationships between wildlife and habitat.
