It's no accident that Lake Champlain is home to some of the best freshwater lake fishing in the U.S., with over 80 species of fish and plenty of territory for sport fish like trout and salmon that inhabit deeper waters. Find out how the scientists at Grand Isle's Ed Weed Fish Culture station produce over a million fish annually, rearing trout, salmon, and walleye to support a healthy fish population and Vermont's multi-million-dollar sports tourism industry.
