Community members and families with young adults are invited to a free movie night on Wednesday, May 18, at Cabot School Performing Arts Center (CSPAC). We will be showing The Listen Up Movie — a film of an original musical inspired, created and performed by Vermont teens. Listen Up explores issues affecting youth, including mental health, resilience, racial justice, sexual identity, friendship, love, family, community and social justice.
The movie night will begin with a community dinner on CSPAC lawn at 5:30 p.m., followed by the film showing in CSPAC at 6 p.m. and a panel discussion at 7:30 p.m. We ask that you RSVP by calling 563-2289 ext. 203 or emailing sonia.scherr@ccsuvt.net.
Listen Up is a project of Vermont filmmaker Bess O'Brien. This showing of Listen Up is co-sponsored by Cabot School and Cabot Public Library. Please note that the movie's content and language might not be appropriate for elementary audiences.
