The next Wards 2 & 3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly is May 12 and we are thrilled to announce that Community Dinner is back! Join your neighbors at 5:30pm at the ONE Community Center, 20 Allen St. for a vegetarian Iraqi meal and the NPA meeting starts at 6:30pm. This month's NPA agenda includes:
- Champlain Street Park Renovations and Community Input: Presentation and community feedback on design concepts for Champlain Street Park.
- Department of Public Works 2022 Construction Plans: Overview and Q&A on the city's plans for paving, sidewalk, water and sewer work this year in Wards 2&3.
- Burlington's Integrated Water Quality Plan: Overview and Q&A on the city's update to the Integrated Water Quality Plan, including information on the next phase of the project and work planned.
- Vermont Make Music Day: Overview and invitation to join Vermont Make Music Day on June 21, 2022, part of World Music Day.
- Elmwood Avenue Shelter Pods and Redistricting resolutions: Voting on resolutions introduced at April NPA meeting. See agenda for text.
