What is a Soil Saver Compost Bin?
The Soil Saver makes it easy to turn yard waste and food scraps into compost – black gold for your garden. Just layer your "browns" (leaves, paper, sawdust) with your "greens" (food scraps, fresh grass clippings), mix occasionally, wave your magic wand, and behold–rich, dark compost! This tried-and-true bin is made from very durable recycled plastic.

Specifications: Capacity is 12 cubic feet (94 gallons); assembled dimensions are 28″W x 28″D x 32″H. You will need to assemble this unit. Box is 23"W x 8"D x 30"H and weighs 28 lbs.

What is a Green Cone?
The Green Cone aerobic digester is the perfect complement to a backyard composting system! When sited and used properly, the Green Cone reduces food waste to its natural components of water, carbon dioxide, and a small amount of residue. The solar-heated unit can safely handle cooked and uncooked food waste, including things that shouldn't go in your backyard compost pile– like meat, fish, bones, and dairy products!

Specifications: When sited properly, the cone should handle 1.5-2 lbs. of food scraps per day. Weight: 18 lbs., sold in box - 30″H x 24″X x 24″D. The unit is in two parts; the bottom basket is 15.7″ diameter at the bottom; 21.5″ diameter at the top. The cone must be buried 16.5″ below ground. The cone portion that is above ground (see photo) is 27.5″ tall with a bottom diameter of 23" and a top diameter of 11″.
