Bill Pool grew up on the land that now abuts the museum's Mountainside Center. At 50 he bought his first camera and began to document his love of nature. In his shows he would often say, "Don't forget to look down at your feet. There is often great beauty right there." Local Photographer Nicki Steel, will lead a walk on the land that he loved. We will explore the beauty of spring and the little things under our feet and take the time to stretch our photographic limits. This walk is open to all ability levels and camera types. This is not intended to be a "how to work your camera's programs" but a time to focus on the elements and artistry of a good photo, share points of view and perhaps find new ways of looking at nature.
Space is limited so please contact the Museum to register. programs@vermontmuseum.org or (802) 464-0048 Donations will cover Ms. Steel's time and contribute to the Museum's Mountainside programming.
