Currently operating from our Pool Nature Center in Marlboro, VT, the Museum is retooling to display our historic natural history collection and educational materials at a new site. We continue to lead programs and present around the region often featuring our live animals!

We'll take a casual walk around the Nature Center and down Adams Crossroad to look and listen for some winter birds. Many species leave Vermont for the winter, but some stay and some even travel here from harsher regions to the north. Winter adaptations and how we can responsibly support winter wildlife are also likely topics of conversation. Be sure to dress for the weather and with appropriate footwear for walking in snow. Join Museum Director, Michael Clough for a stroll in the moonlight and an up-close look at some of our non-releasable nocturnal critters. With snow on the ground and a full moon in the sky, we will be going flashlight free for a short walk in the woods and then gather inside the Pool Nature Center for cocoa and critters.
