Join Vermont Land Trust Forester Caitlin Cusack and Washington County Forester Robert Nelson for a walking tour of some of the vernal pools in the Barre Town Forest. Vernal pools are temporary wetlands – shallow pools – and may not look like much to the average person. But they are important hatcheries and nurseries for some animals that rely on them to survive!
