Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce that the "Bombadils" will be our final "P.M. Sundays" performance for this season taking place on Sunday, April 3 beginning at 4:00 p.m. The concert will occur at the Richmond Congregational Church at 20 Church St. in Richmond. Doors are at 3:30 p.m.
Canadian Folk Music Award nominees The Bombadils bring together bluegrass, Celtic, and singer-songwriter traditions with front-porch style and classical grace. Making their home in the foggy port city of Halifax, Canada, the pan-folk ensemble features husband and wife duo Sarah Frank and Luke Fraser plus guests from their extended musical family. They are joined on this performance by harpist Ellen Gibling.
"We've realized how powerful and important music is as a form of healing, celebration, and love. We want our songs to be a gift from our hearts to provide nourishment and healing to hungry and hurting hearts," Sarah says.
OUR COVID PROTOCOL is that we will require all staff, performers, and patrons to show proof of COVID-19 vaccine when they work or attend performances. Patrons will be asked to show their vaccination card or a photo of their vaccination card when they enter the church. A negative Covid test result within 72 hours of the concert will also be acceptable. We no longer require that masks be worn if you have proper documentation. We will also make the effort to space patrons safely within the pews.
