This weekend is full of FREE events celebrating Irish heritage on the run-up to St. Patrick's Day. On Saturday, at the Fletcher Free Library:

10:30 - 11:30 am: Ceoil agus Filíocht (Music and Poetry). Pickering Room
Musicians Benedict Koehler and Hilari Farrington present a concert of traditional Irish music, joined by Irish poet Angela Patten reading from her work.

11:45 - 12:00: A Tribute to Turlough O'Carolan. Pickering Room
Angela Patten continues to read from her work, accompanied by musician Mary Ann Samuels on hammer dulcimer.

4:00-5:30 pm: Greg Delanty. Local History Room
Cork-born Greg Delanty is a celebrated poet on both sides of the Atlantic and a recipient of many awards.
