Interested in flexing your writing muscles a bit? Whether you consider yourself a fledgling writer or have been honing your craft for a while, you're invited to participate in upcoming writing workshops organized by Carpenter-Carse Library and led by Geoffrey Gevalt (https://geoffreygevalt.com/) -- writer, editor and founder of the Young Writers Project.
Sessions will last between 60-90 minutes (depending on the number of attendees), and will begin with a brief reading to help inspire participants, followed by a writing prompt. After a set amount of personal writing time, participants will be invited to share their work and Geoffrey will read it aloud and then gather others' reactions in a supportive, respectful environment.
The first session will take place on Wednesday, March 9 at 7 pm on Zoom; please email meg@carpentercarse.org to register for the link to join. (And even if you can't make this upcoming one but are interested in being on the list for future sessions, please reach out!)
Zoom offers a live transcription service for improved accessibility. If you require other accommodations in order to participate or have questions/concerns related to accessibility, please reach out as soon as possible to Meg Malone at meg@carpentercarse.org
