Town Meeting Day and School Board elections are upon us. Town Ballots will be mailed to voters in Putney, but you have to request your Windham Southeast School District Ballot by calling or emailing our Town Clerk, Jon Johnson, at clerk@putneyvt.org. Please consider voting absentee. In person voting is possible on March 1st.
What to look for in 2022!
-We will vote by Australian Ballot this year due to COVID - There will be no in person Town Meeting - Polling place is open on March 1st
-Consider voting absentee - early voting starts February 9th and ends in person on Tuesday, March 1st
-School District Ballot- Contested elections (three seats open and four candidates - Lana Dever and Peter "Fish" Case are running for the one Brattleboro resident seat, Shaun Murphy is running for the Guilford resident seat, and Deborah Stanford is running for the Dummerston resident seat. David Wheeler of Dummerston is no longer running. Putney does not have a seat open this year. All candidates are at large and represent each town equally.)
