Every day as a Solar Advisor for Suncommon I help Vermonters explore their options around clean energy, energy efficiency, heat pumps, energy storage, and EVs. I often get questions about EVs and charging stations -- clearly, there is interest! The technology is improving, the costs are coming down, the options are increasing (including trucks and AWD), the charging network is growing, and there are some great incentives available.
I thought this would be a great time to host a community conversation/webinar on EVs. Dave Roberts from VEIC / Efficiency Vermont will present a 20-minute overview of EVs and charging . Dave has more than 20 years of transportation efficiency experience and heads up VT's Drive Electric Vermont program. He and I will also share our personal experience with our own EVs, we'll cover purchase/ownership costs, tax incentives and rebates, and EV pros/cons. We'll also leave plenty of time for Q&A.
