Qigong is an ancient Chinese practice that combines gentle movement, controlled breathing, and meditation to enhance the flow of vital energy, known as "qi," within the body. It aims to promote physical, mental, and spiritual health by improving circulation, reducing stress, and fostering a sense of balance and well-being.
According to the National Institute of Health (NIH) website, A 2019 survey of reviews found sufficient evidence to support qigong for balance training and fall prevention. When compared to more traditional interventions, qigong was found to have similar and sometimes better effects.
