Celebrate mid-winter by bringing your kids, family, and friends to Schmanska Park (63 Grove Street) in Burlington's Old East End. On hand will be free loaner winter sports equipment for young and not-so young. Pick up a pair of cross-county skis, snowshoes or a sled to use in the park. Afterwards, grab a free hot cider and cider doughnut or fresh baked cookies to keep you energized. Check out the nature trail from Schmanska Park to Greenmount Cemetery or StoryWalk® authored by poet, Amanda Gorman. Or just relax in the warming area. Live music will perform between 11 am and 1 pm. Come join the fun! We'll do it all again on Sunday, February 6th without the live music. Brought to you by Old East End Neighborhood Coalition, Burlington Parks Recreation Waterfront, AARP Vermont, and UVM Office of Student and Community Relations.
