Class: Organizing Your Genealogy Research

Past event
Jan 22, 2022, 10:30 AM to 12 PM

The VT Genealogy Library is hosting a webinar this Saturday on "Organizing Your Genealogy Research," by Suzanne Blanchard.

If you find yourself buried in documents, notes and photos related to your family history research, then this talk may provide solutions. Join genealogist Suzanne Blanchard to consider the many options available to tame our work and get more done.

Next Saturday, Dwight Fowler will demonstrate one of the suggestions from Suzanne - Microsoft OneNote. In "Using OneNote to Organize Your Genealogy," he'll describe how to combine documents, images, videos & interviews into a single note about an ancestor or an event, manipulate it and then file & tag it for easy retrieval. OneNote is a very popular, free app that can solve all kinds of organizational problems for us.

Classes at the Vermont Genealogy Library are held on Zoom from 10:30 AM until noon. Cost is $10.00. Please visit our website, www.vtgenlib.org for more details and for registration.
