Join Blue Bossa for an eclectic array of contemporary, bossa nova, and jazz blues style songs at Ede Thomas’ home, Hillcrest, 1563 Ames Hill Rd, Marlboro, Vermont on Thursday, May 29th at 7:30pm. Featuring local musicians and songwriter Jesse Lepkoff (vocal and guitar), Alison Hale (flute) and Darryl Kniffen (drums, piano), Blue Bossa performs traditional Brazilian Bossa Nova classics such as love songs Bonita and Ele E Carioca as well as Lepkoff’s own originals such as the hilarious Coon in the Henhouse jazzy-blues tune inspired by real events in Marlboro, Vermont. Edie’s home offers lovely mountain views and a cozy, intimate environment in which to relax, laugh and dream as Blue Bossa engages one’s heart and funny bone in a delightful evening of entertainment.
