Throughout the fall and early winter, Wendy Buhner has been leading us for "hike-and-read" explorations on Tucker Mountain.  These hikes have typically been on weekdays, but let's do one this Saturday, January 1, and let's explore another mountain!  Join us at 1:00 pm for a hike on Mount Hag in South Newbury.  We never hurry on these hikes, and we always find a good spot to sit and read together.  A small camp fire should be possible on this walk, and we'll dip into a book or two in celebration of trees.  Contact the Baldwin Library at 802-757-2693 or librarian@baldwinlibraryvt.org for directions and other details.  Many local hikers traditionally tackle high peaks on New Year's Day; come with us as we enjoy a much more modest climb!
