Are you a contra dancer or interested in learning? This traditional form of dance involves long lines of couples and a caller who prompts the dancers as they move through the steps. The Virginia Reel is an example of a contra dance. You are welcome to attend as a single and dance with others who need partners.

Live music will provided by the band Black Woods. Mary Wesley will be our caller this Sunday.

There are always lots of smiles, laughter and good energy in the room as folks enjoy moving in time to lively, traditional tunes. New dancers are welcome but we suggest you come early to take advantage of some basic instructions at the start of the dance. Please bring clean, soft-soled shoes for dancing.

There will be a 30-minute break for a potluck supper, so bring something to share if you are able.

Admission is by donation, with suggested amounts of $15 per adult for regular admission and $20 per adult for admission as a supporting patron.
