If you are still looking for that perfect holiday gift, bid in Bennington Museum's online art auction which is part of our end of year fundraising events. Regional artists have created work inspired by "Snowflake " Bentley, a late 19th-century Vermont-born photomicrographer, who was the first known person to take detailed photographs of snowflakes and to determine that no two snowflakes are alike.
To view the art and place your closed-bid visit https://benningtonmuseum.org/transient-beauty-online/. Proceeds benefit both the artists and the Museum.
How does a Closed-Bid Auction work?
Place a "blind" bid for the amount you would be willing to purchase the piece of art and the highest bid will be declared the winner. The Closed-Bid Auction of exhibited artwork will close at 4 pm on December 20, 2021. Pieces may be collected before the holidays. Good luck!
