MRV Libraries Pandemic Stories Author Reading This Sunday

Past event
Nov 21, 2021, 2 to 3:30 PM

Do you have plans for Sunday afternoon? You do now! Come hear your MRV friends and neighbors read their stories and poems at a special event in the heated tent outside Toast & Eggs.

This event celebrates the publication of "A Year of Its Own: A Mad River Valley Pandemic Stories Project." Last summer, the Mad River Libraries invited local residents to submit their stories and poetry inspired by life in the MRV during the COVID-19 pandemic. We'll hear from some of the local writers who submitted their work. Didn't get published but still have something to share? We welcome you to read your work as well.

The author reading will take place from 2:00-3:30 this Sunday, November 21. The tent is heated but please dress warmly. Coffee, tea, and hot cider will be provided. Masks are strongly encouraged for all.

We also encourage advance registration for both readers and audience members, but we will also accept registrations at the door: https://forms.gle/j8QshkShHrCNS2mv8
