There will be an information session on the Hinesburg Town Forest Addition and Conservation Project on Thursday, November 4 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. by zoom (see link below). Please come join members of the Hinesburg Town Forest Committee, Hinesburg Land Trust, Vermont Land Trust, and Ethan Tapper, Chittenden County Forester, to hear about the opportunity to expand the Hinesburg Town Forest and to permanently conserve both the existing 834-acre Hinesburg Town Forest and the additional 291 acres from the Carse lands. There will be summaries of the opportunity, where things stand, and what needs to happen to make it a reality, as well as time for your questions. Ethan Tapper will also be sharing updates on current and recent management, research, and community engagement on the Hinesburg Town Forest.
