AGENDA
Due to an uptick in local COVID-19 cases, the Select Board will be holding its meetings via Zoom at least through October, though Town Hall will be open and staffed for in-person participation, per. 1 V.S.A. § 312 (a)(2)(D). 4:00 PM Select Board Site Visit to Dolan Road
Pursuant to the provisions of Title 19 Vermont Statutes Annotated, Chapter 7, as amended, that the Middlesex Select Board, on its own Motion passed at the September 7, 2021 Select Board Meeting, will consider downgrading to Legal Trail an 832-foot Class 4 section of Dolan Road that is 195 feet from the intersection of Bolduc and Tangletown roads. THEREFORE, the Select Board will meet at Dolan Road at 4:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 2, 2021, to visit the section under consideration. No action.
5:00 PM Dolan Road Public Hearing
The Board will reconvene at Town Hall, 5 Church Street, Middlesex, and via Zoom* to conduct a public hearing on downgrading the 832-foot section of Dolan Road. This hearing may be delayed by the site visit. The Select Board will then determine whether the public good, necessity and convenience of the inhabitants of Middlesex require this change, per the procedure specified in 19 V.S.A. §711. The public and interested parties are invited to attend and participate at this public hearing. No action.
5:30 PM FY23 Budget Workshop
The Highway Department presents its budget for the upcoming fiscal year. Budget Committee, Road Foreman and Road Commissioner to attend. No action.
