On October 27, 1962, during the Cuban Missile Crisis, Russian Commodore Vasily Arkhipov refused to fire a nuclear missile, thus averting nuclear war and saving untold lives. To celebrate his excellent judgement, Live Jazz will be at Pulcinella's (1710 Shelburne Rd, South Burlington) this Wednesday from 630-830. We'll play silly old songs. You'll eat great Italian food and toast the memory of the man who saved the world.
