Join us for an introduction to Tenant's Rights & Responsibilities, and Fair Housing protections. Presented by CVOEO's Housing Advocacy team, these workshops are for tenants, landlords, and all community members in-between. In our Tenant Rights & Responsibilities workshop, we will briefly cover tenant skills, landlord obligations, including security deposits and termination of tenancy.

Our workshops will focus on introducing relevant information and tools participants can put directly into practice. We encourage participants to bring questions to the workshop for discussion. While this workshop is meant to be an introduction to these topics, Vermont Tenants offers free weekly workshops for a deeper dive on tenants' rights and responsibilities (as well as finding housing and financially preparing to rent). The Fair Housing Project offers more expansive workshops on Fair Housing upon request.
