Hello from the Moretown Library:
The Friends of the Moretown Memorial Library are putting on a car wash on Saturday, May 31st from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Moretown Elementary School. All money raised will go towards the purchase of books and other material for our wonderful town library.
We need volunteers to help wash cars. Any and all are welcome, Kids age 11 and up, Adults that want to help as well will be welcomed. Any support for this event will be much appreciated. Please call me, Amy at 496-5825. A few hoses are also needed, so if you cannot volunteer but could lend a length of hose for the event, that would be great.
On this same day, at Moretown School, The Spring Into Moretown Festival will be happening as well. The timing for this bigger event is 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Come on out and see what will be availalbe, The 6th Annual Valley Wide Bike Swap will be taking place. An Energy Fair will be happening, the Moretown Volunteer Fire Department will be serving up a B*BQ Lunch for all, Don't miss the live music with the Scared By Dolls, a Lawn Sale is planned at the Moretown Medhodist Church, local products will be available in the ball fields. Lots of Fun for all.
