Physical acting & movement work is about expanding & stretching the human body’s expressive potential. Participants explore multiple ways of working on text, the techniques in the performance of plays & musicals, and developing the physical conditioning that allows the actor to freely move. Inspired by the work of Pina Bausch and Tanz Theater. Extensive warmup, individual, partner & group work. Build short movement-theater pieces to be showcased at final class. For ages 15 & up (or by audition/director’s discretion)
