Creating a shared vision for a robust economic future

The Vermont Futures Project was convened by the Vermont Chamber Foundation to create a voice for Vermont’s long-term economic health, providing opportunity for Vermonters. Through leadership, research and education, the Vermont Futures Project seeks to inform the conversation about Vermont’s economic future and demonstrate how a healthy economy contributes to Vermont’s vibrant communities and unique quality of life.
The Vermont Futures Project research team has met with over 50 Vermont thought-leaders and organizations throughout the state to gather input from them regarding their vision of the future. These public forums are the next step in the project, inviting the public to these free events to attend, listen and share ideas for Vermont’s future. “We are working to create a path toward a growing and prosperous future for Vermonters by attracting more people to Vermont, growing businesses and entrepreneurs while building on the Vermont brand to support the future prosperity of our state,” said Jeff Lewis of the Vermont Futures Project. “These forums will bring Vermonters together to create a vision for a vibrant and healthy economic future.” Vermonters are encouraged to attend, listen, and share ideas.
