Curious about yoga and meditation but never felt comfortable enough to take a class? Perhaps you tried one or two classes but felt lost? This event was created specifically for you! All you need is a willingness to try something new.
Love University is collaborating with Stowe Stretching Studio to bring something new to the community; a welcoming and communal space where you, as a beginner, are met exactly where you are. Allow Maggie Mae, April and Garin to be your guides as we delve into the basics of these ancient practices, making them accessible and fun. The goal is to help you find what works and feels healthy for you. You'll leave with an understanding of why these practices, when rooted in lightness and joy, will change everything you believe about yourself and the world around you.
What to Expect
We'll share in an open dialogue format about the principles and philosophies of yoga and meditation, leaving plenty of room for discussion and questions. We'll move between practicing various entry level yoga postures and different styles of meditation. The group will be small enough that each participant will receive individual attention, ensuring proper alignment for each individual's body. Expect a flow between food, movement, stillness and dialogue.
