High Octave Living

Greetings to all in the midst of this still challenging pandemic. If you are stymied in moving on with your life, ready to make a new start of some kind when life eases up, I invite you to join me for the next two months in a High Octave Living course. It's eight 2-hour sessions on Zoom.

The course is a version of MBSP, the psychologist-created Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice. In it you will get a sense of 24 universal character strengths which represent all the good stuff in humanity (what a relief from the daily news!) and find out which of these strengths come most naturally to you. These are your character superpowers which can help ease the way through to creating a richer, more fulfilling life no matter what's going on.

Each session offers time-honored mindfulness practices along with the strengths work. You can try out these practices and insights right away in home, school or work settings. To get the most from the course be prepared to spend between 4 and 8 hours each week focused on the material and the meditation practices. If you do, you'll likely be finding changes in your life in the direction of greater self-understanding, managing stress and problems better, more peaceful outlook and greater sense of purpose and meaning.

A former participant said,"I think you will be helping a lot of people with this. Once you know about the good in you there's no going back".

The course is $175 which includes a $35 materials fee. Sliding scale, just let me know. The eight sessions are Thursdays from 3-5 PM starting Sept. 30, or choose Tuesdays from 7-9 PM starting Oct. 5. Live on Zoom! I'll be connecting from the Center for Arts & Learning in Montpelier.

I'm a long-term meditator and student of the human condition. I'm also a flute maker, so some mindfulness sessions may include live music. You can find out more at https://www.flutewalker.com/high-octave-living-course.html For questions, or to sign up just email me.
