Overcome Fear (Second Offering)

I'm hosting the Overcome Fear workshop again next Friday from 6:00-8:00 over Zoom.This isn't just about phobias, it's also about moving into areas of great discomfort in your life that prevent you from doing the things you love or know are right. Creative blocks, relationship struggles, life transitions, all of those experiences have an element of fear. The description is below, let me know if you'd like to join.

The workshop will be recorded for later viewing

⭐️ Cost: $20-60 pay-what-you-can
(or nothing if that is best, finances should not be a barrier to healing)

✨✨ This workshop will encompass yoga asana, meditation, journaling, creative exercises, and a bit of anatomy and physiology about fear. The workshop will help you not only understand what's happening for you physically when you experience fear, including how you experience it in your body, it will give you an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings, and emotions as well. You will leave the workshop with writing prompts and a creative practice as well as yoga techniques to help manage fear.

✨✨ The night of the Buddha's awakening he was visited by the demon Mara who tempted him with many enticements in order to distract him on his path to enlightenment and inner peace. Instead of being afraid, the Buddha very calmly invites Mara to tea. This is a great teaching – instead of pushing away what torments you, get deeper into it. Only then can you uncover the heart of the pain. This is also a very powerful gateway to healing.
