MAY 10th from 1:00-3:00 (this is a FREE event)
Color theory is usually so technical, that in the end, you still aren’t always sure how to get the color you desire.
Are you good at making grey and brown, but little else? Maybe you’re not sure how to use the colors you have in your paintbox, maybe you’re using the wrong colors, or maybe you just don’t know what color options are available.
Chelsea Lindner will show examples of basic color mixing techniques, focusing on color choices which can help you achieve the colors you want. How color effects your compositions will also be discussed.
Learn some basic rules which when applied properly, can make your color mixing simpler, rather than more complicated. Whether you work in Acrylics, Oils, or Watercolors, these basic rules can be applied to nearly any media. She will also answer your specific color oriented questions.
