A celebration of birds and the grand re-opening of the renovated Education Barn at the Green Mountain Audubon Center in Huntington.
Free admission and fun for the whole family. Bird walks, live birds, bird banding, face painting, ice cream for sale, naturalist-led walks, bird sculpture carving, scavenger hunts, art projects and more! Plan to spend a couple of hours or the entire day. Our newly renovated Education Barn will be open for viewing. There will be a rolling slideshow of the renovation and select images from National Audubon's 2018 Photography Awards show on display.
Dress for the weather as this celebration will happen rain or shine. Please bring cash for food and other goodies and leave your dogs at home.
