This workshop will encompass yoga asana (all levels, beginner - advanced), meditation, journaling, a creative practice, and a bit of anatomy and physiology about fear. The workshop will help you not only understand what's happening for you physically when you experience fear, including how you experience it in your body, it will give you an opportunity to explore thoughts, feelings, and emotions as well. You will leave the workshop with writing prompts and a creative practice as well as yoga techniques to help manage fear.

The original title for this workshop, Invite a Demon to Tea, is inspired the night of the Buddha's awakening. The Buddha is visited by the demon Mara who temps him with many enticements in order to distract him on his path to enlightenment and inner peace. Instead of being afraid, the Buddha very calmly invites Mara to tea. This is a great teaching – instead of pushing away what torments you, get deeper into it. Only then can you uncover the heart of the pain. This is a very powerful gateway to healing.
